Rodolfo’s Life Story On Tablets
István Takács, the curator of the Rodolfó exhibition, said: the illusionist was a special man, an artist of his profession. He lived as a twenty-four-hour magician, practising 6-8 hours every day for the rest of his life. The greatest magic of his work was his personality, which made the audience of the 50s and 60s forget the difficulties of everyday life? – he said. The exhibition includes a poster of a show for the King of Egypt in 1940, or later pictures taken during his labour service.
István Takács ‘Taki’ entrusted the storage and care of the tables to the conjuring museum during his lifetime. They will of course still be on display at the organised exhibitions.
