Die Box
The sucker box is a classic of magic that has stood the test of time. The magician shows you a cube and a wooden box with two compartments and four doors, places the cube in one compartment and closes the doors. He tilts the box to one side and the audience hears the cube slide into the other compartment. The magician claims that the cube has “disappeared”! The audience doesn’t believe it, so he opens the other door to prove it. The audience is completely unaware that the cube has simply slid over to the other side of the wooden box. this is repeated a few more times, and the audience is left with the impression that the cube is constantly sliding back and forth from left to right when the doors are closed. Finally, the magician opens ALL the doors, proving that the cube is GONE!!!
