“The Biggest Attraction on Earth” toured Europe between 1898 and 1902, with huge publicity and great interest everywhere. For the first two years they toured Britain, then sailed across the sea in 1900 to spend that season already in Germany. From April 1901, Hungary was followed by Austria, the Czech Republic, again Germany, the Netherlands, and finally Belgium, followed by performances in France and Switzerland in the last year of the tour. The circus press, H. L. Watkins, also mentioned the Hungarian stations in his book on the European tour, and in addition to contemporary newspaper articles, we can also find additions to Géza Csáth’s diary, as the later writer visited the company’s performance on April 27, 1901 in Subotica.See also different:
