Born on 17 May 1914 in Budapest. He played a lot of sports, was a wrestler and a wrestler. At the age of 18 he passed his acrobat exam. He wrestled, lifted weights and even performed as a circus wrestler.
In 1940, he started performing magic and was also a club leader. He presented the magic tricks he had learned to enthusiastic audiences, adding his own ideas.
In 1967, Alfréd Brezina founded the Budapest Magicians’ Club, which held meetings in various cultural centres.
In 1971 István Gálházi founded the Ufferini Club, and in 1973 the two clubs merged under the name of Corodini Magic Club.
From 1982 onwards, the club was published under the title of Joker for a few years, and from 1986 onwards under the title of Bűvészvilág. The Budapest Magicians’ Club continued its activities in the Csokonai House of Culture as long as its activities and contracts allowed it.
He died in Budapest in 1997. Some of his former students are not only top artists of our country, but many of them are also internationally renowned artists, such as Gergely Molnár, Péter Sugár.
In our museum we keep 2 of his memorabilia, which he used as aids in his shows.
One of the objects is a cigarette dispenser, with which he could release the cigarettes while burning.
The other is a mouse holder. In his shows he often displayed mice, which he kept in this device in his clothes.
