Effect: You openly shown an empty bottle, and offer to make it vanish. Of course, the audience would love to see that. So, with tongue firmly in cheek, you place the bottle into a paper sack…and announce the bottle has vanished. You then snap you fingers, and pull the bottle out of the sack. The audience voices it’s disapproval. You admit that it was a silly attempt at a trick, and replace the bottle in the sack. Then, to the audiences’ surprise, you crumple the paper sack up, and throw it over your shoulder. The bottle has vanished!
