József Grätzer’s book Sicc – Fun Spells, Deceptive Deceptions has been a collection of witty puzzles and puzzles, magic tricks and jumpers, individual and group games, and various forms of entertainment. The word “Sicc” in the title is an abbreviation composed of the initials of the subtitle and used in previous editions in the form S.I.C.C. and SICC, respectively. The author, József Grätzer, was the personal secretary of Frigyes Karinthy; in his day he was known as the “king of puzzles”.
